9:10 in the morning. 11:02 the same morning.

April 6, 2018. A leaning tree, a fence and a shed underneath it, and a busy season. Two photographs from the same morning.

A bare oak leaning over a chain-link fence. Wes is roped in near the top, a helper watches from the ground, and a blue shed sits close on the left.
9:10 AM. That is Wes at the top, roped in. The tree leans over the fence line, the shed close beneath it.
The same yard less than two hours later. The tree is gone, the stump is cut low, logs are stacked neatly along the fence, and the shed and fence are untouched.
11:02 AM. Tree down, stump cut low, logs bucked and stacked for her fire pit. The shed and the fence did not take a scratch.
